This flexible bangle hugs your wrist and whispers, “bling.” No wires are needed to make it; it gets its support and keeps its shape with a clever combination of netting and peyote stitches. The materials list is for a bangle with an inner diameter of 6 cm and an outer diameter of 7.5 cm; your bangle may be made larger or smaller. Wouldn't you love to make this bangle yourself? My instructions, with complete diagrams and step-by-step directions, make it easy! In order to make this project, you must be familiar with peyote and netting stitches. I will be asking you to do some very interesting and unusual things with these stitches, so get ready!
Kristin Child's fantastic borosilicate flower beads are the star of the show in this bracelet. She makes the most amazing bead flowers and the colours are super. Red and yellow sparkly faceted glass quartz beads pull the whole look together. There are Bali sterling silver bead caps and small cubic zirconia beads that serve as great complements. The closure is a Bali sterling silver toggle clasp and a dangle of several cubic zirconia beads. A great work of art!
A pair of wooden hairsticks are capped with rhinestone rondelle spacers and a colorful dangle of beads suspended from a byzantine chain maille weave chain with a lot of sterling silver accents. A great way to dress your hair.
Use a combination of double-needle weave and peyote stitch to create sweet band rings with crystal, pearl or gemstone accents. As shown, these rings are approximately 8mm wide; they can be made even wider by adding additional rows, if you like. They can be made to fit any size finger. This bead-weaving project is appropriate for nearly all levels of seed beaders; beginners may find it challenging, but anyone who is comfortable following a beading diagram will be able to make it.
