This is a fossilized 1 1/2" Mako sharks tooth, on adjustable(16"-32") leather, necklace. Where it as a choker or pendant style...it's a lot of leather. This Mako sharks tooth has no flaws. This Mako sharks tooth is hung on an 11mm x 5mm Ghanan copper/brass cast basket bead; other accents include 2mm bone disks, 3mm copper bi-cones and 4mm African Mashie Glass.

This beautiful hand-stitched beaded pendant is woven together with nearly 100 individual beads! The dark, A-grade amethyst beads give this pendant the look of a delicious ripe berry. The symmetrical, spherical design is in the shape of an octahedron, with 8 sides of intricately woven seed beads. The pendant is hollow on the inside but very sturdy and stable, and is strung through a wire-wrapped headpin and strung on a black twisted nylon cord.

These complex, tactile beaded beads are great as eye-catching solo pendants, or as the focal bead in a stunning necklace! The individual beaded beads measure about 0.85 inches (2.2 cm) in diameter, and can be woven together from either freshwater pearls or Czech firepolish round beads and Japanese seed beads. This hollow, and completely self-supporting beaded bead design is in the shape of an icosahedron, a regular polyhedron constructed of 20 equilateral triangles! This is an advanced project, and experience in the right angle weave technique is recommended prior to attempting this project. Small, size 15/0 seed beads are used in this design, so some experience working with this size seed bead is also recommended.

The focal bead is Sherpa coral. It's really not coral but glass. It's dimensions are 13mm thick by 18mm in diameter. Sherpa coral is thought to be manufactured in Czechoslovakia. This is the older, truer, process. Where pulverized glass is heat pressed into molds. It's half the weight of normal glass and has a more waxy, as opposed to shiney, look to it. This is the real thing. Next is Tibetan copal(Tree resin), dyed sponge coral, dyed bamboo coral, red jasper, travertine, and Naga glass.
