Give me blue

I'm so tired of winter. Tired of snow or icy drizzle, tired of the cold, tired of the fog (that I usually don't mind at all), tired of grey skys. I feel as if my senses are hibernating and I drag myself from one nap to the next. Sudden bouts of productivity last not longer than half an hour and are more than scarce.
No doubt about it, I need color therapy. What color to choose, though? What am I longing for most ... white and pink buds, fresh green leaves ... blue! A blue sky would make me happy right now.
Given the fact that it's night here at the moment and therefore pretty much pitch dark out there, I have to satisfy my craving elsewhere. I'd love for you to join me.

What a lovely stone kyanite is! Northern Girl Jewelry was absolutely right to not cover these beads up, but let them stand on their own, just enhanced through the silver. Blue and silver is one of my favorite color combination anyway.

Blue kyanite and sterling silver earrings - Square

The pieces at TJR Jewellery have a modern and clean look - and a beautiful one. What says blue sky more than this ring with a blue topaz?

At StudioDTQ I found these gorgeous blue chalcedony earrings. I like it dangly and the colors go together so well.

It's still dark outside, but now the hope that there will be blue skies again is back.

I SO believe in color therapy. :o)

I also agree with being tired of all the snow, icy winds, just all around MISERABLE conditions. I usually love the winter but this year with as many severe storms as my area has had, I'm ready for some sunshine and warmer days!

Thank you for the mention of my earrings- Hooray for the blues!

Days are getting longer here - not much longer to bright sunny weather again!
