The Softer Side of Grey

I have a confession to make...  I've never been a big fan of neutrals, especially grey.  I've long associated grey with those cold, dark days of November that signal the start of winter.  But lately, I've been seeing that grey has a softer, more romantic side too.  Grey can be elegant and sweet and full of life.  After all, as the children's saying goes, "April showers bring May flowers".  Without the grey rain clouds, we wouldn't have those beautiful (colourful) spring flowers I love so much.

So it's time to celebrate grey - or gray.  Whichever way you spell it, I think you will agree, these handmade pieces are soft and beautiful.

I like to pair gray with other soft colors, like pink or lilac.

I like grey a lot, I think it looks so posh, Ava's bracelet looks mouth watering.

Oh I love gray in jewelry and clothing... all the shades there, they can go with soooo many things; and as I'm fashion-challenged, that helps a lot! lol
Beautiful grays here today. I absolutely love that bracelet!

What elegant, timeless creations are here!

I don't wear black but like to use gray in my entance setting palletes. Dove or light gray to me denotes a softenss to defuse and lighten the mood while charcoal gray denotes an bold, mysterious edge; not as crisply stark as black, but it still has a vibrant presence. Almost like taking black and blurring it- a black car moving quickly in the corner of your eye. I love grays!

Any way you slice it, gray is a vivacious, mood enhancing color. BTW, I am really partial to Ava Designs pearl bracelet- tres elegant!

I have a soft spot for grey myself - the lighter shade of black (which is my comfort colour).

And beautiful examples of work from the team.
Cheers,
Tasha

I posted a comment yesterday, but it looks like it didn't take.

I love grays from light to dark, especially paired with pink or red. It's a nice change from black as it's not as stark.

Lovely selection of work from the team - thank you for including the butterfly pendant!

These are such soothing pieces of jewelry. I really like the understated elegance of grey. It is like wearing sterling silver jewelry but with more of an individual statement.
