Featured Shop: The FamiLee Jewels

The FamiLee Jewels is proud to feature the work of three generations of artisans, crafting beaded and wire sculpted jewelry. Each piece is individually handcrafted, and showcases a unique combination of wire, gemstones, and a variety of beads from around the world. Their inspiration is drawn from the natural beauty surrounding us every day. Click on any photo to learn more about the item.

These scary looking skull earrings are terrific for Halloween or anytime you want to impart a gothic vibe. The skulls are molded plastic with a distressed finish that makes them substantial looking but lightweight. Each is embellished with a blood red Swarovski crystal. Each skull measures 5/8 inch wide, 1 inch tall and 1 1/4 inches deep. They are presented on hook style findings for pierced ears.

It's time to howl and nothing provides more creepiness than spiders! Scrabble tiles have been turned into spooktackular ear jewelry. Each pair of earrings (no 2 exactly alike) comes in its own handcrafted coffin! There are 30 different spiders and 15 different coffin designs, so you are bound to be surprised!

Tempus Fugit is for the days I spend like the white rabbit always worried about running late. Time getting away from me was the inspiration for this not quite steampunk sort of victorian industrial collage. A piece of decorative brass cabinet hardware is the frame for this necklace that depicts a clock that no longer reminds us to go faster. Dragonflies and a lovely swallow remind us to appreciate a different kind of flying. The necklace is 3 1/4 inches wide and 3 inches long including the bail. It is presented on an 18 inch antique brass chain that closes with a hook and loop clasp.

The color of this lovely green aventurine cabochon just makes me happy. It is wrapped in sterling silver and tiny jet beads. it is suspended, with a hand crafted sterling silver bail, from an 18 inch necklace made of malachite, jet and sterling silver beads. The hook and loop clasp is also handcrafted. The piece is embellished with a simple silver charm that simply says Joy.

Like a circle in a spiral or a wheel within a wheel I have layered the vintage brass cogs, and flywheels of deconstructed watches and clocks to form to focal point of this one of a kind brass ring. The wheels spin on top of a wrapped ring shank of Vintaj brass. The ring is made to fit a size 5 finger.
