Favorite Tool - Laptop

Some how in my favorite tools blog posts I've managed to miss the one tool I spend a exceptional amount of time using, my laptop.

I have a MacBook, and I love it! I used to have a Toshiba somethingorother that crashed on a regular basis and got viruses so often I stopped counting. I futzed around on it for a very long time, cursing daily and wasting a lot of time waiting for it to decide to work.

Finally I decided enough was enough and it was time to get a new laptop. But what? Well a good friend and Mac loved talked me into getting a Mac. Boy, if I only knew what I'd been missing I'd have done it ages ago!

There was a bit of a learning curve involved but once I got it all sorted out I am amazed at how user friendly a Mac is. Coming with lots of softwear and tutorials to go with them it really has made my computer time less painful and more productive.

I've had my MacBook for about two years now and aside from dropping it, it's had no problems. The dropping issue was fixed amazingly fast, 24 hours and I had my laptop returned and backed up!

So shortly after the MacBook came the Iphone, and now I'm happily a Mac owner!

My laptop is at the top of my list of favorite tools as well. I haven't crossed over to a Mac yet...I guess I don't know what I'm missing, I have been very happy with my Dell, which is now about 5 years old.

I don't have a laptop (can't get used to the keyboard set-up), but I'd be lost without my desktop!

Yep my computer is one of my favourite and most used tools, funny how you don't think of it that way.

My *PC* is my favorite tool, yes. I don't have any virus, worm or crashing issues. My husband and I have a friend who is a professional computer tech/network person and has been doing our computer systems for us for close to 10 years now. We could never imagine buying storebought again. It's custom made all the way for us. I am sorry for those who do suffer from those problems because they are very annoying to say the least. I am happy for the Mac users that are happy with thier Macs, but I'm a PC. heheh
